Deanna is a transactional attorney based in Chicago, IL with a specialty in life sciences matters, including clinical trials, pharmaceutical development, and related regulations. She is currently practicing with Axiom Global, providing her expertise to global pharmaceutical companies. Prior to joining Axiom, Deanna worked as an in-house attorney with AbbVie's research and development legal group. She graduated from The John Marshall Law School, where she was President of the Lincoln Chapter of the Phi Alpha Delta International Legal Fraternity. During law school Deanna was a law clerk and 7-11 licensed law student with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, working primarily in the Health Related Prosecutions unit. Prior to practicing law, she worked in the financial services and insurance industries in her hometown of Milwaukee. She graduated with a B.A. in Political Science and Business from Marquette University, where she was President of the Marquette University Pre-Law Society. Deanna currently serves on the SBAA Board of Directors, is a student advisor for Phi Alpha Delta, and volunteers as a crisis intervention counselor with Crisis Text Line.
